  • New Paintings

    A variety of new paintings

  • Ceramics as a collective group

I have been experimenting with ceramics as installations that tell a story.

My first collections are based on the seabeds, fish shoals and sealife.

The work in this picture is called ‘Yellow Shoal’

Past Exhibitions

  • Up the rainbow stairs

Every Summer, for 20 years now, I have had a Summer Show in the upstairs rooms of the Serena Hall Gallery in Southwold. This is my favourite show of the year, where I exhibited new works from my studio. I love working on new ideas to create a wonderful, colourful and joyfull space for my customers.

  • Blue Southwold

My first solo exhibition was in Southwold, Buckenham Galleries in 1997.

‘Blue Southwold’ was sold at this exhibition to Richard Webster who owned the Orwell Press. He asked me if he could make it into a postcard and print. The postcard went on to become the best selling card. 24 years later and we still sell prints and greetings cards of ‘Blue Southwold’ to customers around the world today.

  • Assembly House Exhibition, Norwich.

My Glass Hut was exhibited at the Assembly House, Norwich in 2011.

After years of planning, making and finishing the HUt, it was great to see it outside and on display.

More information on the Glass Hut is on my projects page.

  • Peter Pears Gallery, Aldeburgh

I exhibited my work at the Peter Pears, Women in Art exhibition. I exhibited my mixed media works and ceramics.

A talk was given by Maggi Hambling, it was a very enjoyable mixed artists show in a beautiful space.

  • Buying a squash club

In 2014, my partner and I brought an old unused squash Club, 10 minutes away from Southwold. With four squash courts, changing rooms, an old bar and urinals, to renovate, this was a great project for future exhibition space and workshops.

The Studio Gallery and free cocktail bar, will be open soon to show extra large works by appointment. Enjoy a cocktail while you look around!

  • Harbour exhibition

For one day only, I exhibited my ceramic sculptures which were inspired by the harbour, at the harbour. It was great to watch peoples reactions as they came across a seagull sculpture or hanging ceramic fish. The harbour has been a source of inspiration since my family moved to Ferry road when I was a young girl. My views from the house were of the sea and the harbour.
